All photos were taken in Chernobyl and Pripyat, January 2013. Most of the time I couln’t walk around houses ans streets and shhot freely because of high radiation levels. There’s a different challenge when you think about make photos in Pripyat: radiation. Forget about tripods, lenses or fotometers. The best tip is just hold on your left hand a professional geiger radiation counter and try to avoid excessive radiation exposition. Snow, wind and climatic conditions may drastically change what you planned in previous days. The city decides what you can do there. There’s no negociation.
